It also has a sunny terrace where you can enjoy pleasant breakfasts or a relaxing evening drink illuminated by the lights of the San Mamés Stadium. Getting around
You have different options to approach the Apartment:
- By bus (Line 3 50 meters) - By metro (San Mamésa stop 5 minutes)
- By car. The surrounding area is an OTA green zone, which means that you can only park for a maximum of 5 hours. The hours are from 9am to 1.30pm and from 3pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday. On weekends and public holidays, there are no restrictions and you can park freely.
Apart from this, we have a private car park a 10-minute walk from the flat. Large cars such as SUVs or off-road vehicles cannot enter, but cars such as an Audi A3, Peugeot 407 or Mazda Cx 30 can enter without any problems. Reservations are required and the cost is €14/day.
There are also two public car parks about a 10-minute walk from the flat. One is at the Termibus bus station and the other is at the Euskalduna Conference Centre. The former is cheaper than the latter.
- The Termibus station is less than 500 meters from the apartment. From there you will be connected to San Sebastian, Vitoria, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and countless other destinations.
- As an added value to your stay, you can also ask us about the possibility of taking a boat and walking along the estuary or you can even go to the apartment in one of them and dock your sailboat at the Cargadero, a cocktail bar where you can enjoy a rest and continue with your boat trip.
Neighbourhood
This apartment is located in the old Olabeaga neighborhood of Bilbao. Industrial zone and maritime mercantile tradition. It is an area in reconstruction with life at all hours and lately very fashionable. During the day you can find walkers, runners, bikers along a very pleasant walk along the estuary that can take you without walking too much to the Itxas Museum, Euskalduna Palace, Guggenheim Museum, and walking a little more to the Old Town itself.
At night, the estuary reflects the lights of very varied and characteristic establishments of the area, the Cargadero, the Shipyard, La Lonja, La Karola, places from which you can enjoy the views of an estuary that is more alive every day.
Close to the apartment you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner in spectacular places and at a good price
